It is imperative that every brand has an online presence — one that includes a search engine marketing strategy for Facebook since this popular site is one of the web’s largest search engines, with 621 million queries per month.

Off-site branded properties such as Facebook — given that their keyphrases align with on-site assets — contribute to a brand’s share of voice within search results. This means that search engines, such as Google and  Bing, now incorporate rankings into the search results pages giving brands greater visibility off their own branded website.
